Kinuthia Mbugua, OGW, EBS, CBS

He is the State House Comptroller and the immediate first former Governor of Nakuru County in Kenya. Mr. Kinuthia trained as an Administrative Policy Officer where he rose through the ranks to become the Commandant at the Kenya Administrative Police College. As the Comptroller at State House, he has been entrusted with chairing crucial meetings and delegations on behalf of the country. These include chairing; Interministerial Preparatory Meeting of the 21st Session of the Governing Council of UNEP, National Preparatory Committee on the RIO+10 Summit on Sustainable Development, Regional Steering Committee on East African Cross-Border Biodiversity meetings, Chairman, Interministerial Committee on transformation of Kenya Water Institute (KEWI) into SAGA status, led Kenyan delegation on the second committee on Natural Resources and Science and Technology in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and Led Kenyan delegation to meeting of the Mega-Diverse Countries’, (Peru, Cusco).
